The Way .. A Theatrical performance by students of the Department of Dramatic Arts.
As part of the 2023 Spring Festival of Arts, the play “The Way” continues to be Performed, directed by student Saif Al-Din Al-Alwani, assisted in directing by student Ali Al-Zantouti, and represented by: Abdel-Raouf Swayci, Jamal Mansour, Aya Al-Mahmoudi, Aylendouka, Amira Zubaida.
In an attempt to break the stereotype about the arts in all its scientific disciplines, the students presented a theatrical performance that deals with the problem of societal culture and the limited awareness of the importance of art and its educational role in resisting ignorance and preconceived intellectual stereotypes that perpetuate the inferior view of art and the lack of awareness of the danger of its absence and the lack of interest in its necessity for the advancement of nations and human societies. Not realizing that art is one of the most important pillars of human civilization throughout human history.
Despite the limited and modest capabilities, the students of the Department of Dramatic Arts were able to provide a positive impression about their awareness and understanding of the nature of art in general and the art of theater in particular, in order to employ it as a platform for expression and a means of raising awareness, changing negative beliefs and concepts, and spreading community awareness.
Therefore, they chose "The Way" as a title of their theatrical Performance, as a direct indication of the Way of thought and the need for the human to have the courage to make a decision in choosing the way that he takes away from preconceived ideas and stereotypes about Fine arts and all human sciences.
