Entry Reuirements

  • The Department of General Islamic Sharia opens admissions for those wishing to join the program in March of each year.
  • The launch of the program will be announced through the College’s Graduate Studies and Training Office. The announcement will be posted on bulletin boards in the Islamic Sharia Department, the Graduate Studies and Training Office, and in the graduate studies halls, in addition to an electronic announcement on the Graduate Studies and Training Office’s Facebook page.
  • The department sets a deadline for accepting applications from those wishing to join the program, in accordance with the laws and regulations.
  • The department sets a date for a competitive examination among applicants. University teaching assistants are exempt, and they have priority in admission.

Study Plan

The PhD in Islamic Sharia prepares students to qualify for PhD in Islamic Sharia. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.

It comprises 2 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 8 units, which include 4 units of general subjects, and 4 major units
