Renewal of Program Accreditation for the Faculty of Medicine (Internal Audit)/ Evaluation of Teaching Hospitals
Educational resources are a key component in achieving the Faculty of Medicine’s Strategic Plan (2025–2030) and a fundamental requirement for program accreditation. These resources—including lecture halls, laboratories, teaching hospitals, libraries, and e-learning systems—must align with student capacity and curriculum needs while being continuously updated and evaluated to support both theoretical and clinical education.
To ensure quality and effectiveness, the faculty conducts regular assessments through surveys, reports, and specialized committees. In this context, the Dean issued Decisions No. (57) and (58) of 2026 to establish committees for internal audit of accreditation standards and evaluation of teaching hospitals. These committees carried out field visits from April 26 to May 3, 2026.
The initiative reflects the faculty's commitment to enhancing educational quality and renewing program accreditation. The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department extends its appreciation to the teaching hospitals for their cooperation and support during the evaluation process.
