I am pleased to first welcome the students of the faculty, offering them congratulations for their belonging to this scientific edifice, asking them to do their utmost to acquire knowledge and good morals, asking God  for them and the college all success. I also call on my colleagues in the faculty of the faculty and staff to work diligently and provide the best educational and administrative practices to serve our students and fulfill our obligations towards them and towards our dear homeland and to achieve one of the goals of the national vision to raise the level of higher university education outputs cognitively, skillfully and morally to enable them to compete, lead and make change in their specializations and fields their business.

I also welcome you to the Department of Engineering Management at the University of Tripoli, which is considered one of the oldest postgraduate departments in the Faculty of Engineering in Libyan universities, as it was established in 1991. The department offers a distinguished program in engineering management that includes its various specializations in construction engineering programs, production engineering, energy management engineering, as well as renewable energy engineering. The Department of Engineering Management is also proud of the presence of a group of professors who are dedicated to educating and educating more than 270 students in the department for postgraduate studies.

The Engineering Management Department has made very fast and great strides since its inception until this moment. The establishment of academic programs and the design of their curricula and study plans have been completed in accordance with the standards of the Center for Quality Assurance and International Foundations in Engineering Education in order to reach distinguished educational outcomes from engineers and researchers in the field of engineering sciences and their applications capable of competition and leadership in their professional and career future.

Recently, the efforts of the department, which is considered the first at the University of Tripoli, have culminated in obtaining academic accreditation from the Quality Assurance Center for the European Union-supported Energy Management Program (TEMPUS). The Department of Engineering Management has a direct link in achieving the vision of the engineering development of our beloved country, Libya. It has many contributions in line with the vision of preparing qualified engineers who are able to face the challenges of the coming period and devise ways to maintain the sustainability of urban infrastructure and reconstruction.

Vision

Our vision is for the Engineering Management Department's programs to be one of the leading programs in North Africa and the Middle East, by providing high-quality education for students, and the completion of research that serves national, regional and global interests.

Mission

We have a program that provides a high-quality education in "management" that equips students with intellectual and professional skills and ethical principles, and from a global perspective. In particular, we can:

v Provide comprehensive and systematic curricula in "Engineering Management" to students.

v Advance innovative research, industrial applications, and practices in the Engineering Management discipline.

v Providing quality services to the community.
