Mobile Computing Department Forum: Vision, Future Challenges, and Graduate Experiences

The annual forum of the Mobile Computing Department was held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with the aim of introducing and highlighting the department's objectives, vision, and mission. The event featured a detailed presentation by the department head, Ms. Manar Areef, who elaborated on the goals, vision, and mission of the department, as well as the requirements for computer science students and the skills and knowledge expected from graduates.

Additionally, the study and examination coordinator, Ms. Nahed Farah, explained the study and examination regulations in the college, including semester and cumulative GPA calculation, warning systems, methods for improving academic performance, and reasons for student dismissal as per the regulations. Mr. Mohammed Ohayba, the projects and alumni coordinator, also provided insights into the acceptance criteria for graduation projects, the importance of these projects, their requirements, and the evaluation process.

The forum also included an introduction to the faculty members of the Mobile Computing Department. During the event, graduates of the department shared their personal and professional experiences after graduation, highlighting the benefits of their specialization.

At the end of the forum, department head Ms. Manar Areef presented certificates of appreciation to engineers who participated in the Innovation and Excellence Exhibition, as a token of encouragement for their dedication, presence, and contribution.
