Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the level of evaluating teaching practices among the teachers of Physical Education in the directorates of education in the governorate of Aqaba as well as identifying the statistical differences in the teaching practices of among the teachers of Physical Education in the governorate of Aqaba according to the variables of (gender, educational qualification, teaching experience, educational stage).

The study sample consisted of (40) male and female teachers who were chosen intentionally. The study used the descriptive approach due to its compatibility to the study nature and the questionnaire was used as the study instrument for data collection.

(SPSS) was used to analyze the study data. The results revealed that the level of

evaluating the teaching practices among the teachers of Physical Education in the directorates of education in the governorate of Aqaba was low, and that there are statistically significant differences in evaluating the teaching practices among the teachers of Physical Education in the directorates of education in Aqaba governorate according to the variables of gender in favor of the female teachers. The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences regarding educational qualification in favor of higher education, while there are no statistically significant differences regarding the educational stage. The results also revealed that there are statistically significant differences in the level of evaluating the variable of teaching experience in

favor of (3-5) yeas.
