Abstract

Research objective: To find out the reasons that lead to not joining the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Tripoli from the point of view of students who graduated from the secondary school certificate.  Research Methodology: The researcher used the descriptive approach in its survey style due to its suitability and the nature of the research to achieve its objectives. Research community: The research community included high school graduates who are enrolled in the faculties of the University of Tripoli for the academic year (2022-2023), except for students enrolled in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, whose number is (8250) students. Research sample: The research sample was chosen randomly from the research community، and they are students of the preliminary stage of the undergraduate level, and they numbered (1047) students. The most important results: The researcher reached that the economic aspect came in the first order among the most important reasons, and the academic aspect came in the second order among the most important reasons, and finally the social aspect came in the third order.
