Follow-up by the Maliki Committee for the Specialization of Physics for the joint doctoral project in the Western Region

The Scientific Committee for the Physics Specialization of the Faculties of Science in the Western Region met this morning, Tuesday 1/9/2024 AD, in the meeting hall of the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli, headed by Prof.  Dr. Abdullah Al-Kalash, in the presence of committee members, representatives of the faculties of science at the universities of Tripoli, Al-Zawiya, Sabratha, Gharyan, and Al-Zaytouna, and some representatives of the faculties of education.

 The Chairman of the Committee welcomed the new colleagues and reviewed the previous steps, the proposed core and optional courses, and the mechanism for their approval.

 He gave an overview of the human potential in specialization in the western region and the numbers expected to join the program within the framework of a development plan that serves development and the future of the nation.  Mechanisms for benefiting from the capabilities of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research in supporting some research of a special nature were also discussed.

 The next stages for completing the program were agreed upon, and a unified model for the proposed scientific courses was determined in accordance with quality programs.

 This was praised by A.  Dr. Khaled Abdul Hafeez Al-Marghani, Coordinator of the Joint Doctorate Program for the Colleges of Science in the Western Region, praised the efforts of the committee, and that the Chairman and members of the Supervision and Coordination Committee are in continuous follow-up of the activities of the various scientific committees and will provide all support for the success of the joint doctoral program in the Western Region, and all available capabilities will be available to researchers in order to complete projects that serve the community and the future.  The next generations.

 The meeting concluded according to the prepared timetable, and the Chairman of the Committee appreciated the efforts of the members and their hard work in order to serve the nation and make the national doctoral nationalization program a success, after the success of the master’s programs decades ago and the number of graduates in the departments of the Western Region exceeding ~150 graduates.
