As part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the University of Tripoli and the Libyan Petroleum Institute, affiliated with the National Oil Corporation (NOC), signed in December 2021, a team from the Center for Research, Consulting, and Training conducted a working visit to the Libyan Petroleum Institute yesterday morning, Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

At the beginning of the visit, a working meeting was held between the Center's team and the Institute's team. The Center's team also visited some of the Institute's laboratories.

After the opening of the meeting, the departments and divisions of both the Center and the Institute were introduced, and the mechanism for initiating the implementation of joint cooperation programs between the University of Tripoli and the Libyan Petroleum Institute was discussed. These programs include:

The possibility of utilizing the human and technical capabilities of the University of Tripoli in the Institute's work programs

Studying the possibility of jointly implementing several joint research proposals

Studying the possibility of Institute technicians contributing to training programs and maintaining some laboratories at the University and the Center

Activating the program of research groups at the University to participate in the implementation of some studies and research related to the Institute's field

Studying the possibility of joint cooperation in supervising master's theses

Studying the possibility of Institute experts benefiting from the University of Tripoli's databases, which include various university publications

At the end of the visit, the importance of reciprocal visits to activate joint cooperation programs for the benefit of the university and the institute was emphasized. The center's work team also extended its sincere thanks to the institute's management for the warm welcome.
